Kathleen Y. Wales

Access RoadKathleen Y. Wales of Covington, passed away May 23, 2010, at the age of 55. She was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd, in Covington. Ms. Wales was previously employed by both Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Southern Regional Healthcare. Ms. Wales was a member of the Covington Women's Club, and enjoyed scuba diving in her free time. She was a loving sister and mother. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Guenther and Kristen Shaw of Covington; mother, Patricia Slaughter; sister, Patricia Bennett, both of Ontario, Canada; brother and sister-in-law, David and Barbara Slaughter of Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of Canada; best friend, Debbie Vanderbunt. A Memorial Service for Ms. Wales will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Father Timothy Graham officiating. The family would like to invite friends to visit and share memories at a light luncheon immediately following the service.
