Kathy Cole

Access RoadKathy Cole of Covington, passed away November 2, 2011, at the age of 59. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church, for 30 years. Kathy devoted 27 years of her life working with adults with developmental disabilities, in Newton County. She was a devoted wife; and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Warner John Hudgins.Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Kenneth Cole of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and DeWayne Brooks of Watkinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Kristopher and Misty Cole of Covington; grandchildren, Aaron Wesley Brooks, Tristan Wesley Cole, Katherine Alice Brooks, Kelbie Wynter Cole; mother, Alice Geneva Tate of Griffin; sister and brother-in-law, Alice Faye and Jerry Welch of Nashville, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky Hudgins of Elijay, Gerald and Nancy Hudgins of Zebulon, Earl Ray and Sherrie Hudgins of Elijay; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Kathy will be held Friday, November 4, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Canaan Baptist Church, in Covington, with Rev. Gary Satterfield, Dr. Scott Caudill, and Rev. Thomas Satterfield officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Thursday, November 3, from 6-8 PM.
