Kathy Dally

Kathy Dally, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the age of 80. A lifelong resident of Newton County where she was a member of Starrsville United Methodist Church. She attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and was a dedicated employee of Loyal Gas for 22 years. In her spare time, Mrs. Dally enjoyed growing and selling vegetables, watching Georgia football, and eating at Waffle House. Above all, she loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Dally was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Barrett Dally; parents, Martine Duncan and Kathryn Nan McRae.

Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Pope; son, Kerby Pope (Kelli); grandchildren, Jacob Pope, Peyton Pope; great-grandchildren, Ryan Pope, Barrett Pope, and one on the way.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Dally will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Danny Hammond officiating.
