Kathy Dimsdale

Kathy Lynn Dimsdale, of Walnut Grove, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at the age of 66. Mrs. Dimsdale served on the Walnut Grove City Council for 4 years. She enjoyed reading and read through the Bible every year for many years. In her spare time, Mrs. Dimsdale liked crafting, going to see plays, baking, playing cards, and shopping with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family whether it was supporting and encouraging activities for her girls, spending time with her grandchildren, or even being a bonus mom to many of her children’s friends. In addition, Mrs. Dimsdale enjoyed going to the beach and the lake house, and loved decorating and celebrating holidays, especially Halloween. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lorene Hardegree; and brothers, Jackie Hardegree, Larry Hardegree.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 and half years, Wayne Dimsdale; daughters, Jaclyn Myers (Justin), Ali Geigerman (Jason); step-children, Tessa Mann, Richie Dimsdale; grandchildren, Lane Myers, Case Myers, Locke Geigerman, Bowie Geigerman, Blakely Dimsdale, Logan Dimsdale; sister, Sylvia Edge (Bill); as well as other loving family members and friends.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Dimsdale will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Jersey Holiness Church Cemetery, 3439 Monroe Jersey Road SE, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Tuesday, October 24, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
