Kathy Sue Howard

Kathy Sue Howard of Covington, passed away December 30, 2011, at Rockdale Medical Center. She was 63 years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Boozer and Nancy Maude (Floyd) Boozer. She was an active member of Apostolic Community Church where she taught the primary Sunday School Class for 9 - 12 year olds for fifteen years. Mrs. Howard sang with the church choir as well as performing special musical selections. She loved all children, especially her nieces, nephews, and the children at church. Mrs. Howard also enjoyed camping.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Kenneth M. Howard of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Mike Alexander of Porterdale, Evelyn and Wesley Persall of Conyers, Sandra and Roy Myrick of McDonough; mother-in-law, Eddie Lou Howard of Conyers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Howard will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 2, 2012, at Apostolic Community Church, 2094 Highway 81 South in Covington, with Pastor Robert L. Nash, Pastor Randy Wonders, and Rev. Joseph Hardigree officiating, Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, December 31, 2011, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Apostolic Community Church, 2094 Highway 81 S, Covington, Georgia 30016.
