Kimberly Pippin

Kimberly Pippin, of Covington, passed away August 30, 2012.  Mrs. Pippin was a member of Gaithers United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending The Church at Covington.  She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Zsha Zsha, who passed away with her.  Mrs. Pippin was loved by many.   Survivors include her husband, Dilmus Raymond Pippin, Jr. of Oxford; son, Dakoda Mobley of Covington; father, Ken Porter of Buford; mother and step-father, Jackie and Tom Backes of Joplin, MO; sister, Kristina Backes; brother, Colby Backes; niece, Kaileigh Gorski; mother and father-in-laws, Terry and Marsha Carter and Dilmus Raymond Pippin, Sr. and Shirley Pippin of Oxford, Georgia.   Funeral Services for Mrs. Pippin will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Mickey Moss and Evangelist Terry Carter officiating, and interment following in Porterdale Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 4 from 12:00-2:00 PM.
