Larry Hardegree

Larry Hardegree of Porterdale, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the age of 72. Mr. Hardegree retired from Bibb Manufacturing after 48 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, attending car shows and was an avid WWE Wrestling fan. Mr. Hardegree loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lorene Hardegree; brother, Jackie Hardegree.

Survivors include his son, James Emory Hardegree; daughters, Jamie Hardegree, Kimberly Schmitt Holman, Kristen Hardegree; grandchildren, Billy Hardegree, Katie Hardegree, Brittany Rayman, Emily Giles, Jacob Schmitt, Chloe Griffith; great-grandchildren, Carleigh, Colton, Carson, Aiden, Aurora; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia and Bill Edge, Kathy and Wayne Dimsdale.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Hardegree will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 12 Noon - 2:00 P.M.
