L.B. Seagraves

L.B. Seagraves of Covington, died May 18, 2012, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. He was 87 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Seagraves enjoyed taking care of his chickens and building blue bird houses. He loved being outside and gardening. Mr. Seagraves was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Lynn Anderson; and his parents, Hoyt and Annie (Hawkes) Seagraves.
Mr. Seagraves is survived by his wife, Kathleen Seagraves of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Chris Seagraves of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Daniel Seagraves of Covington, Delaney and Kelvin Dodd of Dallas, GA, Holly Stapp of Covington; great-grandchildren, Nathan Anderson, Emma Dodd, Breanna Stapp; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lee and William Neal of Albany; brother and sister-in-law, Warren Tyler and Louise Seagraves of Covington.
Funeral services for Mr. Seagraves will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 21, 2012, at Corinth Christian Church in Loganville with Mr. Don Hardison, Mr. Lester Waters, and Mr. Adam Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, Sunday, May 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
