Lee Parham

Lee Parham of Covington, passed away February 11, 2015, at the age of 71. Lee was a veteran of the United States Army, having proudly served in Qui Nhon and Da Nang, in Vietnam. In 2012, he retired from Lithonia Lighting after 26 years of dedicated service. Lee was a member of New Rock Wesleyan Church, but had most recently attended Eastridge Community Church, in Covington, where he taught a Bible study class. Additionally, he was a member of High Noon Christian Saddle Club. Lee was a devoted Christian, was always willing to help others and often donated his time working with the Salvation Army. He enjoyed traveling to the western United States and horseback riding. Lee loved his family dearly and especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bobbie Jean Parham; parents, Erastus Tillman and Emmie Bee Parham; sister, Shirley Jones; and his brothers, William Parham and Joe Parham.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Parham of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Tom Lee Parham, Jr., of Chapin, SC, Brad and Amy Parham of Tega Cay, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Parham, Michelle Parham, Tyler Parham, Katherine Parham, Allison Parham; step-son, Branden Hudson; sister, Jane Petty; sisters-in-law, Ruth Parham, Hilda Parham of Woodbury, TN.

Funeral Services for Lee will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Scott Moore officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 14, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Newton County, P.O. Box 1044, Covington, GA 30015.
