Leigh Jones Rutledge

Leigh Jones Rutledge, of Covington, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the age of 48. Mrs. Rutledge enjoyed playing golf when she could. She loved traveling, and cooking for everyone. Mrs. Rutledge adored her family, and they were her primary focus. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Rutledge was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Bill Rutledge; and parents, Stanley and Nancy Jones.

Mrs. Rutledge is survived by her daughter, Nancy Rutledge; sons, William Rutledge, River Rutledge; and brother, Dane Jones (Shannon).

Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. A Private Memorial Service for Mrs. Rutledge will be held at a later date.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
