Linda R. Kitchens

Linda R. Kitchens of Oxford, died May 7, 2011, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle at the age of 66. Mrs. Kitchens will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Pauline (Head) Kite.
Mrs. Kitchens is survived by her husband, Jimmy Kitchens of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and David Peters of Oxford; sons and daughters-in-law, Bogy and Bonny Kitchens, Scott and Scarlett Kitchens, Jim and Tina Kitchens, all of Oxford; grandchildren, Cain, Courtney, Darci, and Delani Kitchens, Dustin Brooking, Haley and Hanna Peters; sisters and brother-in-law, Sally and Doug Mills of Covington, Katheline Lynch, all of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Brenda Kite of Hampton.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Kitchens will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 11:00 A.M., at Cornish Mountain Baptist Church in Oxford, with Rev. Jerry Barrett and Rev. Rick Moyers officiating, and interment following in Cornish Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Monday, May 9, from 6 - 9 P.M.
