Linda Lou Wood

Linda Lou Wood, of Covington, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the age of 71. Born Friday, December 16, 1949, in Wisner, Louisiana, Mrs. Wood was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Wood liked to sew and was a seamstress for many years owning her own business and enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower garden. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents, Martin, Sr. and Lucille (Robinson) Camlic; brother, Martin Camlic, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Harry Wood; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Phillip Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Tara Wood; grandchildren, Mariah, Charisse, Sydney, Isabella, Houston; sisters, Donna Pirkey, Patty Pirkey; and brother, Luke Camlic.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Wood will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Benjamin Wood and Pastor Luke Camlic officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Monday, May 10, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
