Logan passed away after a long battle with mental health and addiction struggles. Logan never wanted to be defined by her addiction or her demons, but she rather her truth to be a beacon that could help others understand their own battles with addiction. Logan left this world with dreams she really wanted to fulfill. She dreamed of creating a clothing brand with her baby sister. She talked about using her trauma and struggles to become a counselor and help young women like herself beat the monsters that plagued them. We were blessed that Logan spent the last 3 months of her life at home, hanging out with her sister and making new and wonderful friends, something she had been longing to do for years. She was a bright pure light in this world who loved fiercely and deeply. A teacher once referred to her as “no respecter of persons”. She explained, Logan only saw people through a lens of love and compassion. She was born with the heart of a Guardian Angel. She was a protector; she was a giver, and she was a defender of those who couldn’t always defend themselves. That is the way we, and we hope everyone will remember her.
A Visitation for Logan will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M., at Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. A Celebration of Life will follow her visitation at Mellow Mushroom, 1880 GA-20, in Conyers at 4:30 P.M., with a Memorial Balloon Release at 6:00 P.M. As we are not having a typical funeral service, we would love everyone to join us and anyone who would like to say a few words will be welcome to do so prior to the balloon release.
