Lois Rogers of Covington, formerly of Scottsboro, AL, died October 3, 2017, at 94 years of age. Known as a very independent lady, Mrs. Rogers enjoyed reading, sewing, and taking care of her home and family. But most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 44 years, Prince Edward Rogers; parents, Benjamin and Sadie (Allen) Adams; and brother, David Adams.
Survivors include her daughter Beuna (Be) Baker, and her husband Hoyt, of Covington; granddaughter, Heather Roberts, and her husband James, of Atlanta; grandson, Michael Baker of Covington; nephews, Billy Fred Adams, Gerald Wayne Adams; and niece, Joyce Ann Frazee.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Rogers will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017, 2:00 PM (Central Time), at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 210 North Cedar Hill Drive, in Scottsboro, AL, with Rev. David Morman and Hoyt Masters officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
