Louise Murphy

Louise Murphy of Newborn, passed away November 21, 2010, at the age of 64. Mrs. Murphy was a devoted member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the Smoky Mountains, talking on the phone, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved shopping. Mrs. Murphy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.J. and Bessie (Harper) Miller.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. Murphy of Newborn; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jeff Woods of Conyers; grandchildren, Tony Woods, T.J. Woods, both of Conyers; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Joe Brownlee; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Darby and Joyce Murphy of Loganville; mother-in-law, Lucile Murphy of Carnesville; aunt, Ida Lou and Palmer Sims of Locust Grove; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Murphy will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., with Pastor Jerry Barrett officiating, and entombment following at Memory Chapel Mausoleum in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, November 23, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
