Louise Wise

Access RoadLouise Wise, of Porterdale, died March 31, 2010, at Rockdale Medical Center, at the age of 92. A life long resident of Newton County, Mrs. Wise retired from Bibb Manufacturing and was a member of Porterdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling to the mountains, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Simmons Wise.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Tommy Rape; son, Jerry Wise all of Covington; grandchildren, Fred and Jamie Wise, Tommy and Tracy Rape III, Andy and Cathy Rape, Emily and Scott Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Travis Rape, Mandy Rape, Jordan Rape, Drew Rape, Keely Rape, Trevor Jenkins, Casey Jenkins; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Wise will be held on Saturday, April 3, 11:00 AM, at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 2, from 6-8 PM.
