Lovie V. Jones

Lovie V. Jones passed away December 19, 2011, at her home in Covington. Mrs. Jones loved her church family and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Leonard and Katie Merle (Collins) Allen.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Daniel L. Jones of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Chris L. and Renee Jones of McDonough; grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Courtney Jones, Savanna Akins, and Jake Jones; sisters, Marsha Venters of Hiawassee, Sherry Fortner of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Allen and Teri Collins of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Jones will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Pastor Zack Nipper officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, December 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, GA 30025.
