Lucille B. Casper

Access RoadLucille B. Casper of Oxford, passed away February 8, 2011, at the age of 72. Mrs. Casper was of the Christian faith. She and her first husband, J.W. Casper, were blessed with four children who will greatly miss her. She enjoyed writing songs, poems, and keeping in touch with everyone by phone and cards. Mrs. Casper was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Causby and Edna Jane (Durden) Bailey; and her sister, Ruby Nell Shore. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Terry and Kathy Casper of Tignall, GA, Jay Phillip and Tina Casper of Cartersville; daughters and sons-in-law, Susie Jane and Jack Pace of Monticello, Teresa Anne and Doug Ramey of Oxford; sister, Annie Pearl Stowe of Oxford; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins Funeral Services for Mrs. Casper will be held Friday, February 11, 2011, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Terry Casper and Rev. Charles Wood officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 10, from 6-9 PM.
