Mack Straley,

Access RoadMack Straley, II, of Covington, passed away December 8, 2010, at the age of 60. Mr. Straley attended Crossroads United Methodist Church, in Conyers. He worked for Scientific Atlanta for 10 years. He enjoyed playing cards and chess. Mr. Straley loved music, and played the guitar in the band "For Rent". He was preceded in death by his father, Mack William Straley. Survivors include his mother, Ruby Ernestine (Flint) Straley; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Stewart Roberts, all of Covington; nephew, Steven and Lisa Whitehead; great nephews, Nicklas Matthews Whitehead, Bryson Whitehead, all of Loganville. Funeral Services for Mr. Straley will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Dr. Hannah Garrett Johnson officiating, and interment following in Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, December 10, from 4-6 PM.
