Access RoadMandy Elease Brown of Oxford, passed away June 20, 2012, at the age of 92. Mrs. Brown was a faithful member of New Life Praise Center, in Lawrenceville, and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.G. Brown; and her parents, John David and Clara Jane (Lively) Simmons.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roger Aikens of Oxford; son, Dennis Brown of Acworth; grandchildren, Angela McGee, Regina Talley, Chris Aikens, Jan Carter, Jean Thompson, Chad Brown; great-grandchildren, Justin McGee, Jonathan McGee, Kaylin Aikens, Keira Aikens, Nick Carter, Brianna Talley; sisters, Delree Turner, Lillian Brown, both of Conyers; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Roger Aikens, Evangelist Joel Talley, Justin McGee, and Pastor Chris Aikens officiating, and interment following in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, in Conyers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
