Margaret Frances Henry

Mrs. Margaret Henry of Covington passed away October 20, 2012 at Newton Medical Center. She was 85 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by her husband, C. Hudson Henry; parents, John Virgil and Gordie Mae (Burch) Norwood; and sisters, Jimmy Lou Gibbs and Rachel Coody. Mrs. Henry loved her family. She enjoyed painting with her two sisters, sewing, camping, going to the mountains, and road trips. She loved going out to eat. Her favorite saying was "It don't matter to me!"
Mrs. Henry is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Becky and Daryl McCullough , Pamela Henry; son, Barry Wade Henry, all of Covington; grandchildren, Tammy Cheek, Bethany Sears, Heather Henry, Christa Henry, all of Covington, and Logan Henry of Monroe; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Maggie Cheek, Megan and Chandler Hallock, Makenzie Grant, all of Covington; brothers, Jack Norwood, Joe Norwood, Tommy Gene Norwood, all of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Henry will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 23, at High Point Baptist Church in Covington, with Rev. Jim Martin and Rev. David Marshall. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Monday, October 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
