Margaret Ann Lunsford

Margaret Ann Lunsford, age 80, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018. Mrs. Lunsford was a past member of Porterdale Baptist Church and most recently attended Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church. She was a strong Christian woman who believed in honesty and hard work. At home, Mrs. Lunsford delighted in tending to her flowers, cooking for family, and caring for her two dogs, Bandit and Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Sarah (Poke) Biles; as well as dear friend, Dr. Tuck.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Brice Lunsford; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Shelton Griffin; sons, Rickey Lunsford, Dennis Lunsford; grandchildren, Nick Griffin, Travis Griffin, Brian Lunsford, Amber Bennett, Lyn Marie Haynie; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Nelson, Jeanette Burel; as well as brothers, Billy Biles, Larry Biles.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Lunsford will be held Monday, October 29, 2018, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Bill Norton, Doug Doster, Rev. Dud Childers and Rev. John Ozley officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.
