Margaret "Shay" Engelbracht

Margaret “Shay” Engelbracht, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the age of 68. Shay graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy, in New Orleans, where she cherished all her friends. She loved animals and was an active member of ASPCA. In addition, Shay enjoyed watching game shows in her free time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Margaret Elizabeth DeSonier.

Survivors include her former husband, Roy Engelbracht; and sister, Lee Stevens.

A Memorial Service for Shay will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA at https://secure.aspca.org/.
