Margie Hendrick

Access Road Margie Hendrick, of Monroe, passed away on January 26, 2013, at the age of 72.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling to the beach and mountains.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Ray and Frances (Hutchinson) Porter.   Survivors include her husband, George Grey Hendrick of Monroe; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tim Cartledge of Oxford; sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Sherri Hendrick of Buford, Ronnie Hendrick and Mike Hendrick both of Monroe; 10 grandchildren, Lisa and Zach Ward, Ryan Cartledge, Cody Mauldin, Celeste Puleo, Heather Hendrick, Brent Hendrick, Alexa Hendrick, Derek Hendrick, Adam Hendrick, and Erin Hendrick; great-granddaughter, Olivia Ward; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Bill Wallace and Carol and Larry McKee; brother and sister-in-law, Burman and Janice Porter; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services for Mrs. Hendrick will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013, 12:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor David Payne officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, January 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  Flowers accepted or donations made Park Place Nursing and Rehab Center, 1865 Monroe Hwy, Monroe, Georgia, 30656.
