Marie Cleghorn, of Conyers, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019, at the age of 77. Gifted with a deep capacity to nurture and care for others, Mrs. Cleghorn was considered by many to be the "mom" of her community. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Cleghorn, Jamie Cleghorn; as well as sister, Margie Wooten.
Survivors include James Cleghorn, Sr.; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Dana Ellis, Jessie Dunn; son, Joe Green; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other beloved family members.
A Memorial Visitation for Mrs. Cleghorn will be held Friday, September 6, 2019, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
