Marion C. Cashwell

Marion C. Cashwell, of Buckhead, passed away May 18, 2015, at the age of 92. Mr. Cashwell proudly served his country during WW II. He traveled around the world with Jackie, his beloved wife of 72 years. Mr. Cashwell was a hard-working man who loved the Lord. He cherished his family and enjoyed farm life, especially working with his cows. Mr. Cashwell was preceded in death by his son, Rondy Cashwell; and parents, Clyde and Mary (Tippet) Cashwell.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Cashwell of Buckhead; daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Terry Toles, Sondra Garner; sons and daughter-in-law, Marion B. and Mary Cashwell, Wayne Cashwell; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Cashwell will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Joe LaFrage officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made, in memory of Rondy Cashwell, to American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
