With deepest sorrow, we announce that Marquece Tyree Little, 30, passed away suddenly in Conyers, GA on Monday, March 27, 2023. He was born on May 9, 1992 in Indianapolis, IN to his mother, Marie A. Tate and father, Melvin A. Little, Sr. He was an athlete and graduate from MacArthur High School in Decatur, IL.
Marquece is celebrated as a father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and amazing friend to a host of people from Indiana to Illinois all the way down to Georgia. One of his most remarkable qualities was his love for all children. Marquece was a father to 3 wonderful children, but he also “adopted” and mentored to many others as someone they could look up to and admire. His huge smile was infectious, he lit up any room and he was always the “life of the party”. Marquece was a vital fixture in the family business, Precision Paint and Collision. He was also a 5th generation Master Mason and a member of Isaac Grand Lodge. He was always willing to help others in any way he could. There is no limit to those who will miss and always remember Marquece, or MTate, to his close friends.
Marquece was preceded in death by his brother, Tyrese Little; brother, Wesley Small; step-grandfather, Clarence Moore; step-grandmother, June Gay; grandfather, Emmanuel Woods; great-grandmother, Vermella Moss. He will be missed everyday by his father, Melvin A. Little (Tara); mother, Marie A. Tate; son, Marquece T. Tate; daughters, Torynn N. Tate and Bella R. Little; brothers, Melvin A. Little Jr., Montana A. Little and Mason A. Little; sisters, Miara A. Little, Mariah Parker and Terrene D. Little; grandmothers, Nadine Little Moore and Bobbie Rose Tate; grandfather, Melvin A. Gay; great-grandmother, Anna Tate; loving partner and mother to his child, Oceana Schulz; mother of his eldest children, Tiara Butler; brother, Daiquan Small; adoring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
