Martha Elizabeth McGiboney

Martha Elizabeth McGiboney, of Covington, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 85. Mrs. McGiboney was a member of Eastridge Community Church where she enjoyed services. After retiring From C. R. Bard, she enjoyed her free time camping and traveling. Mrs. McGiboney will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McGiboney; parents, James and Clera Bramlett; sister, Edith Parker; brother, James E. Bramlett; brother-in-law, Henry Parker; and sister-in-law, Christine G. Fincher.

Survivors include her son, Eddie McGiboney; son and daughter-in-law, Michael McGiboney and Rebecca McGiboney; grandchildren, Alan McGiboney, Eddie George; great-grandchildren, Landon George, Nolan George, Curren McGiboney, Caroline McGiboney; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. McGiboney will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Scott Moore and Rev. Gary Thompson and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. and again Saturday, August 17, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
