Martha Nancy Sigman Morris

Martha Nancy Sigman Morris, of Oxford, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 95. Mrs. Morris was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had a passion for crafting of all kinds, with a special love for painting, coloring, and creating beautiful works of art. She found joy in cooking for her family, always making sure that every meal was filled with love and warmth.

A kind soul with a quick sense of humor, she was known for her delightful jokes that brought smiles to those around her. In her quiet moments, Mrs. Morris could often be found enjoying a challenging jigsaw puzzle on her iPad, a pastime that brought her both relaxation and satisfaction.

Above all, Mrs. Morris loved her family dearly, and her caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort and joy to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Vance Morris; parents, Thomas Frank and Gladys Sigman; and brother, Tom Sigman.

Survivors include her Children, Vance Morris, Tana Ayoob (Tony), Brad Morris (Dede), Keely Knight (Ken): Grandchildren, Ashley Wagner (Jim), Michael Ayoob, Jillian Morris, Linsey Yrjanainen, Chris Trost (Courtney), David Knight; Great-Grandchildren, Mariah Trost, Kennedy Trost, JayLeigh Trost, Martha Jean (MJ) Trost, Christopher Trost, Noah Ayoob, Ella Yrjanainen.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Morris will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
