Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Bowden

Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Bowden, of Social Circle, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019, at 83 years of age. She was a member of Sewell United Methodist Church, in Mansfield, and was retired from Georgia Central Bank, where she was a dedicated employee for 37 years. Mrs. Bowden's life centered around her love of family, which for her, included fellow church members. Much of her free time was spent fostering and nurturing bonds with not only her loved ones, but her church family as well. Mrs. Bowden will be remembered most for her role as a caring and attentive wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie (Bruce) Thomas.

Left to lovingly remember Mrs. Bowden is her husband of 64 years, Jerry F. Bowden; daughter and son-in-law, Robbin and Brandon Hill; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Carol Bowden, Russell Bowden; grandchildren, Rhi Cottrell, Keely Bowen, Nan Bowden, Katie Broach; great-grandchildren, Trip, Peyton, Bo, Annalei; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Bowden will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at Sewell United Methodist Church, 1660 Sewell Church Road, in Mansfield, with Pastor Danny Standard and Pastor Larry Clayton officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Tuesday, October 29, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sewell United Methodist Church, 1800 Lynch Road, Social Circle, GA 30025
