Mary Ruth Jackson

Access RoadMary Ruth Jackson of Covington, passed away April 11, 2013, at the age of 83. Mrs. Jackson devoted herself as a pastor's wife for 60 years. She was very giving, loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed spending time with them during the holidays. She enjoyed working word searches. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson, Sr.; and her parents, Walter Lee and Annie (Freeman) Lanning. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Elaine Jackson of Louisville, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Butch and Cindy Jackson of Covington, Charles Randolph and Linda Jackson of Cedar Grove, NC, Richard Curtis Jackson of Hiram, Tommy Lee and Teresa Jackson of Dallas, GA; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackson will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Butch Jackson and Jared Jackson officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 12, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
