Mary Lee Millican

Mary Lee Millican of Newborn, passed away January 21, 2014, at the age of 73. Mrs. Millican loved her family dearly and devoted her time to them. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, in Riverdale. Mrs. Millican was preceded in death by her husband, William Olan Millican; mother, Lillian Othera (Newton) Gaddis; father, Sam Tribble Smith; and her brother, Sam Gaddis.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Carol and John Jones, Cathy Williams, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Amanda Jones, Jacob Cavo-Williams; brothers, David Gaddis, Frank Gaddis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Millican will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014, 12:00 PM, at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Highway 142 E, in Covington, and interment following in College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, Friday, January 24, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605; or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
