Mary Ann Mooney, of Oxford, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 77. Mrs. Mooney was a faithful member of The Baptist Tabernacle in Covington. As a caring and thoughtful family woman, her capacity to love was abundant and knew no limitations. Mrs. Mooney was also known for a strong work ethic that was demonstrated in all aspects of her life. In her downtime, she relaxed by doing word searches, and she liked to sew and do cross-stitch. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her husband, William Trox Mooney.
Left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Mooney are her daughters, Shari A. Mooney, Kathy A. Brooks; sons, William A. Mooney, Terry L. Mooney; grandchildren, Toshia Heil, Dereck Mooney, Sarah English, Terri Mooney, Kristina Jackson, Robert Kehren, Ricky Hill; great-grandchildren, Justin English, Hudson English, Jace McCollough, Adelaide Jackson, Cameron Cleveland, Madison Mooney, Terence Davis, Taylor Davis, Hailey Yarborough, Michael (Mikey) Yarbrough; sisters, Vicki McCart, Cynthia Sutton; and brothers, Danny Walden, Michael Smith.
Due to the current COVID-19, and coronavirus pandemic recommendations, the family regrets that a memorial service for Mrs. Mooney will be held at a later date.
