Mary Frances Beam Neu of Oxford, passed away May 19, 2015, at the age of 68. Mrs. Neu was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church, in Oxford. She was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was devoted to her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Neu was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Willingham, mother, Ruby Nelson; father, James Arvell Cook, Sr.; sister, Joyce Toney; and her brother, James Arvell Cook, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, David H. Neu; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Keith Tanner of Oxford; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Beam of Jacksonville, AL, Michael and Nichole Beam of Hoschton, Rodney Beam of Lilburn; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Cook of Brewton, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kris and Rowena Cook of Weaver, AL, Phillip and Robin Cook of Jacksonville, AL, Stan Cook of White Plains, AL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Neu will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4297 Highway 81, in Oxford, with Pastor Virgil Barnard officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, May 20, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Mrs. Neu will be interred Thursday, May 21, 3:30 PM EST (2:30 PM CST), at Ai Baptist Church Cemetery, 3079 County Road 62, in Heflin, Alabama. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1403, Oxford, GA 30054.
