Mary Ann Sears

Mary Ann Sears of Covington, passed away March 8, 2018, at 62 years of age. Mary Ann was a dedicated member of Porterdale Presbyterian Church. She had a caring and loving disposition that was evident to all who knew her. Although she was an excellent cook, eating out was her way of spending time with and staying connected to her grandchildren. Mary Ann's idea of relaxing was to either indulge her artistic side by coloring or to watch her favorite cooking shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanier and Alice (Daniel) Woodruff.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 43 years, Garry Sears; daughter and son-in-law, Staci and Bryan Satterfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk Sears, Brad and Tonya Sears, Lee and Brenda Sears; grandchildren, Jake, Kaleb, Khristian, Win, Jada, Hollie, Hannah, Simon Luke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Lanier Simmons, Dora and Butch Blackwell; brothers and sister-in-law, Harrison and Diane Woodruff, Brian Woodruff; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mary Ann will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018, 4 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. William L.(Bill) Herndon officiating. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, three hours prior to the service, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM
