Molly was originally from Buena Vista, Georgia and moved to Covington in 1957. Molly had many passions in her life. She certainly loved her family and the time spent together. One of her biggest passions was music. She played saxophone in high school and loved big band music, jazz, and 50s-era songs. Speaking of high school, Molly loved keeping in contact with her high school classmates. She planned and coordinated several reunions and frequently spent time sending correspondences and prayer requests out to the group for different occasions. Another passion or gift Molly had was organization. She loved keeping detailed records and files. Bookkeeping and finances were another strong suit of hers. Molly learned many of those skills working in the family store as a young adult and at the Bank of Covington years ago. Molly also loved and embraced technology, especially the computer. Her computer skills were self-taught like email, texting, software programs, smartphone usage, and Facebook. Many folks were surprised at how well she handled and embraced technology at her age. Molly was described once as “Firecracker”. If you knew her you would agree!!
