Meechel Childress

Access RoadMeechel Childress of Hiawassee, passed away July 5, 2011, at the age of 46. Meechel enjoyed spending time outdoors, and admiring the beautiful view of nature with her husband. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Cofer) Ledford; and her sisters, Melinda Ledford and Melissa Folds.Survivors include her husband, Jon Childress of Hiawassee; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Adam Wade of Atlanta; father, Jimmy R. Ledford of Blairsville; nephew, Cage Folds of Fayetteville; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Mary Childress of Hiawassee; numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral Services for Meechel will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
