Michael Starkey

Michael Starkey, 57, passed away on July 18, 2022. Unfortunately, he lost his fight with melanoma cancer after being diagnosed just last year in 2021. He is remembered heavily for his strength, wisdom, and determination as a man, partner, father, grandfather, friend and so much more. “Anything can be done” was the motto he lived by and instilled in himself, and it showed with his work and daily life. To know Mike was a blessing in itself, his heart was pure and he’d do anything in his power to help those he could, even before himself. He was a man of courage and integrity and lived every day with a purpose. His legacy will live on through his 2 grandchildren, whom of which he thought the world of. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Starkey; his father, Ronald Edward Starkey; and his daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Starkey.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Starkey; his beloved grandchildren, Hayden and Hayley; his former partner of 26 years, Tammy Miller Starkey; his current partner, Alexandra Cosgrove; step-mother, Karen Starkey; and his 3 brothers, Ronald, Christopher and Shawn; as well as many other family and friends.

Arrangements for Michael will be made to celebrate his life on his birthday, November 2nd.
