Michelle Baker

Michelle Baker of Covington, passed away April 3, 2018, at 47 years of age. Michelle was a lifelong resident of Newton County and a member of The Baptist Tabernacle in Covington. She liked spending time outdoors, especially when she had the chance to go fishing. Known to be a remarkable cook, Michelle's specialty dish was chicken and dumplings. Although Michelle will be deeply missed, her loved ones take comfort in knowing they will see her again on the other side. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 19 years, Tony Baker; son, Andrew Baker; step-daughter, Brittany Baker; step-son, Adam Baker and his wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Mariah Baker, Matthew Stephenson, Brent Stephenson, Camden Womack, Clayton Baker; parents, Marvin, Sr., and Joann (Bowman) Eaton; one sister; two brothers; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Michelle will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018, 4:00 PM, at The Baptist Tabernacle, 10119 Access Road, NW, in Covington, with Dr. David C. Moody and Pastor Bill Stafford officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Saturday, April 7, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made, in Michelle's memory, to The Baptist Tabernacle, Attn: Baker Family Memorial Fund.
