Mildred L. Cater Plymal

Access RoadMildred L. Cater Plymal was born in College Park, GA on February 10, 1930, and went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2010. She grew up and resided in College Park, married Ralph E. Plymal, Sr., in 1948. They moved to Fayette County in 1984 and she joined Flat Creek Baptist Church. Mildred loved music and playing the organ. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed the fellowship she shared with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents, Evan Lester and Lora Lillian (Orr) Cater; and her brothers, Lester and William Cater. Mildred leaves behind 3 daughters, Jackie (Roger) Botting of Jonesboro, Kathy Burns of Covington, Sherri (Doug) Lowery of Conyers; her loved puppy, "Bandit"; sister, Katherine Watkins of McDonough; grandchildren, Laurie (Russell) Arnold of Cummings, Scott (Kerri) McCoy, Heather Robinson, John Burns, all of McDonough, Amie (Matt) Jones of Monticello, Andrew Lowery, Alyssa Lowery, both of Conyers; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Plymal will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Pastor Nolan Jackson officiating, and interment following in College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, September 24, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the Susan G.
