Miriam Marie Guest-Masdon

Miriam Marie Guest-Masdon, of Ellenwood, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 95. Mrs. Masdon was a devoted Christian woman known for her strong convictions and kind heart. From a young age, she shared her love of music with others, playing the church organ at just 11 years old and later delighting in singing and humming throughout her days. A gifted pianist and joyful presence, she brought warmth wherever she went.

Mrs. Masdon cherished her family deeply and found great joy in cooking for them, creating lasting memories around the table. She was a hard worker who excelled in everything she put her hand to, always moving forward with grace and determination. She also had a soft spot for her beloved cat, Lucy, and enjoyed cheering on her favorite sport, softball.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. Her memory and loving smile will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Guest; husband, Ben Masdon; parents, James and Peal Fant; daughters, Peggy Guest, Beckie Guest; sons, Richard Guest, Kenneth Guest, David Guest; 10 Brothers and sisters; sons-in-law, Michael Glozier, Bruce Denham; daughters-in-law, Joan Guest and Reecie Guest.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Glozier, Finee Denham; son, Jerry Guest; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great- Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Masdon will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025, 12:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
