Myrtle Campbell, of Covington, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the age of 98. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Manhattan, New York. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and playing Sudoku. In addition, Mrs. Campbell loved traveling around the world.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Campbell; sons, Easton Lascelles, Renville Lascelles; grandchildren, Renville Leslie, Mauretta Blake Thomas, Marjorie Wedderburn, Errol Campbell, Vanessa Taylor, Jeanine Lascelles, Renville Lascelles, Jr.; 14 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Nugent Campbell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Campbell will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, 2:00 P.M, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Bishop D. McFarlane officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family Saturday, two hours prior to her service, from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M.
