Nadine White Long

Nadine White Long of Porterdale passed away November 11, 2013 at Covington Manor Nursing Home. She was 82 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Long enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a member of Central Community Church in Covington and will be remembered as a devoted wife, aunt, and friend to many. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents Rupert Eugene and Ammerett (Butler) White.

Mrs. Long is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald H. Long of Covington; devoted family members, Jane Allen, Terrie Dickerson, Paul Autry, Robbie Autry, Debbie Roberson; as well as other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Long will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M.
