Nellie Dotson

Nellie Dotson, of Auburn, GA passed away April 14, 2021, at the age of 86.  Mrs. Dotson loved the Lord and loved reading her Bible and watching her grandson, Rev. Chad Gordon preach.  She also enjoyed watching Revs. David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley.  She had a big heart and loved her family very much.  Her favorite past-times were reading Christian books on her kindle, cooking and having candy available for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Dotson and her granddaughter, Jessica Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her Mother, Margaret Cox and Father, Charles Cox and nine siblings.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Robert Dotson of Winder; daughter Debra (James) Jackson of Auburn; grandson, Chad (Ami) Gordon of Jackson; great-grandchildren:

Austin (Hope) Gordon; Brooke Gordon, Ashlyn Gordon, Kyle Gordon, Ivy Gordon; Bryant Wallace, Savannah Wallace, Makayla Wallace. Great-great-granddaughter, Charity Gordon. Numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Dotson will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021, 3:00 P.M., at New Covington Cemetery, Southview Drive, in Covington, with Pastor Chad Gordon officiating.
