Nena Marie Head

Nena Marie Head, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the age of 53. Nena, affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Crazy Grandma” loved her family dearly. She was spunky, loved her piercings and tattoos, and was one of a kind. Nena enjoyed listening to rock music, especially Kid Rock which was her favorite. She was always ready to travel at any moment, had a good sense of humor, and always liked someone by her side. Nena enjoyed shopping, getting new outfits and shoes, and always keeping up with the newest trends. In addition, she loved her animals, her cat, Beanie Weanie, her dogs, Jo Jo, Cesar, Diamond, and Kyia. Nena was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Paul Clegg.

Survivors include her daughter, Camilla Ogles (James); son, Christopher Head (Cassie); 7 grandchildren; mother, Martha Clegg; and brother, Michael Clegg.

A Funeral Service for Nena will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, February 17, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
