Nusong Yang

Nusong was born on September 26, 1998. He was the fifth child of nine to Vue Pao Lee and Pa Vue. Nusong’s life has never been easy because of his parent’s separation. His older siblings Vichai, Christopher, Sandy, and Mai Kia had to live apart. Meanwhile, he lived with his Uncle Tai and Auntie Jessica at age eight, with his younger siblings, Touzer, Ying, and Nou. Later, he was adopted by Tai and Jessica Yang, along with his younger siblings. His Uncle and Auntie loved him and did not want him to feel abandoned. Therefore, he had to strive every day. Nusong was carefree, funny, outgoing, optimistic, and happy. He worked hard even though there was nothing to gain. He cared more for his family than he did himself. He enjoyed volleyball, soccer, fixing cars, fixing family rentals, and loved watching movies. He wanted to live life to the fullest. Nusong graduated from Alcovy High School in Covington, Georgia. After he completed high school, he continued his education at Georgia State University for two years. He was working towards acquiring his dream car, Nissan GTR R33. He had the ability to make you laugh in the wrong situations. One of his dreams was to have all his siblings come together as a family, even though it didn’t work out between his parents. He was beginning his journey, but it had come to a stop. We pray, Lord, we thank you for placing us to be a part of Nusong as he was a part of our lives. We ask you to surround our beloved son, Nusong, with your presence and love. Finally, comfort our beloved Nusong, knowing you will not abandon him. Amen.

A Funeral Service for Nusong will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
