Patricia "Penny" Mooney

Access RoadPatricia "Penny" Mooney of Conyers, passed away June 2, 2011, at the age of 62. Mrs. Mooney was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Conyers, and was a very active member of their Relay for Life team. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and was a wonderful seamstress. She loved going to St. Simons Island and playing with her grandsons on the beach. Mrs. Mooney is loved, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Junior Wheeler. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and J. Tanner of Madison; mother, Mrs. Minnie B. Wheeler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Spankey and Carolyn Wheeler, James and Deborah Wheeler, Stanley Wheeler, all of Conyers; grandsons, Nate and Ben Tanner, both of Madison; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services for Mrs. Mooney will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Tracey Puckett and Pastor John Donaldson officiating, and interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Saturday, June 4, from 6-9 PM.
