Paul K. Autry

Paul K. Autry of Covington, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the age of 66. Mr. Autry was a lifelong resident of Newton County and was a member of Christ Cornerstone Church where he served as Minister of Music. Prior to that, he also served as choir director for many years at Gaither's United Methodist Church. Mr. Autry's voice was a blessing, inspiration and comfort to all who had the opportunity to hear. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from Pactiv. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and PaPa. Mr. Autry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jennette Autry; brother, Tim Autry.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Deborah Autry; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Bobbie Autry; grandchildren, Bailey Autry, Lindsey Autry; sisters and brothers-in-law, Terry and Leonard Dickerson, Jane and Gary Allen, Debbie Roberson; brother and sister-in-law, Robbie and Patsy Autry; great-nephew, Kaiden Webb.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Autry will be held Friday, March 15, 2019, 12:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne and Pastor Chris Walden officiating, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, March 14, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
