Peggy Louise (Heath) Knight

Peggy Louise (Heath) Knight of Covington, passed away November 7, 2017, at 74 years of age. Mrs. Knight loved her family, friends, and food - especially hot wings. She was an excellent cook and made sure no one was hungry when they left her table. An active member of Christ Cornerstone, Mrs. Knight adored her church and her church family. She was happiest when socializing and being around people, and was even active during her time at Pruitt, playing bingo and other games. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Woodie L. Knight; parents, William Dawson and Annie Louise (Cochran) Heath; and sister, Barbara (Heath) Rutledge.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Sherry Knight, Wade and Terri Knight, Shane and Mary Knight, Heath and Melinda Knight, all of Covington; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Sandra Heath, Dawson and Connie Heath, all of Jackson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Knight will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017, 3:00 PM, at Christ Cornerstone Church, 1020 Oak Hill Road, Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne officiating. Friends may visit with her family at the church, two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
