Peggy J. Grant

Peggy J. Grant, of Monticello, formerly of Covington, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at the age of 88. Mrs. Grant was born and raised in Porterdale and lived in the Newton County area until 2018 when she moved to Monticello. She was a devout Christian and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband, James Grant; parents, Avis and Willie Mae Coady.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Busbee (Mike), Kimberly Grandy (Erric); 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Grant will be held Monday, May 8, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Clint Culpepper officiating.
